Mondays update Part 2
Lucas was in a crib when we went to see him last night. They said if he continued to hold his temperature through Nurse Kathy's shift then that would be his new bed. I fed him for the first time with a bottle and Dave changed Rachael's diaper for the first time and also fed her some of her bottle. She was tired so they put the rest in a syringe and went through her feeding tube. Lucas took 32 cc's through his bottle and then took the rest through his feeding tube. He was falling asleep and said that he is tired from trying to keep his temperature up. But both are doing great with the bottle feedings. They gestational age is 33 weeks today!

Yippie! 33 Weeks and they are doing so well! I am so happy for you guys and them! How wonderful to be a part of their care. Didn't you just love feeding Lucas? It is such a great experience to look into his eye while he is eating. I am so happy that you and DH got to experience this.
It is great Tanya to hold him and feed him. He is getting a lot better with his bottles now. We are really happy to be experiencing this!!!
