2 Month Checkup

Going to the doctors






























I took the babies to the doctors for their 2 month checkups today. Rachael weighs 5 pounds 12 ounces-19 1/2 inches long; Lucas weighs 8 pounds 2 ounces-21 inches long. She is catching him in length. They both had 5 shots each today so they are not happy campers tonight especially Lucas. Grandma Millie put Lucas on the scale to be weighed and he peed all over the place at the doctors..LOL.. When they were laying side by side on the table Lucas scratched Rachael's belly. She will get even with him someday.

Today is my original due date.

Lucas can not decide which teams he likes. The steelers outfit came from Uncle Bryan and Aunt Rose Marie. The Giants hat is Daddy's team.

Twin Update

Its been a little while since I have updated so I will do that now. Rachael was in the hospital for a few days after christmas because she did not want to eat, lost weight and was not holding her body temperature very well. Not sure what they did in the hospital to her but she is eating very well now, taking 60 cc's every feeding. Right now both babies have colds hopefully they will go away very quick like so they get feeling better. They really do not like me suctioning out their noses. Its very hard to do Rachael's because he nose is so tiny.

Last week at the doctors Rachael weighed 4 pounds 8 ounces and is 17 1/2 inches long now. She does not look any bigger to me though from when we brought her home. Lucas weighed in at 6 pounds 8 ounces. They did not check his length hopefully at their two month check up in a few weeks they will do that. I think they will get more shots too. They both did pretty good with their hepatitis b shots so hoping it goes the same way everytime.
